Dimensions & parts

The BE O cup is our second product, and we proudly introduce it to you! Just like the BE O bottle, the cup was born in Didam but grew up in Nijmegen, where it was designed and assembled in a social workshop. The cup is 16.4 cm tall, 8 cm at its widest point, and weighs about 110 grams. Like all our products, it is completely safe for your health. More about this can be found on this page: Safest Materials. The first BE O cups are available in three different colors.

The BE O cup consists of four different parts:

  1. The flip lid
  2. The cap
  3. The middle ring
  4. The cup

Important instructions

Clean the BE O cup before first use with water and soap. The BE O cup is designed for hot drinks such as coffee and tea. Be cautious to prevent accidents. The ridges on the cup are designed to help you hold the cup comfortably when filled with a hot beverage. When held, the cup will give an indication of the temperature of the hot drink, reducing the chance of burning your mouth.

Note!

  • Be cautious when the BE O cup is filled with hot beverages. Transport the cup upright and avoid shaking it. The pressure that builds up may cause the cup to leak.
  • Do not fill the BE O cup above the filling line on the inside, as this may cause the cup to leak.
  • Do not allow children to use the cup unsupervised when filled with hot beverages.
  • The BE O cup does not have a thermal function.

Cleaning and care

The BE O cup is dishwasher safe. It is recommended to place it in the top rack of the dishwasher. Additionally, it is easy to wash by hand. Clean the cup after each use to prevent the coffee smell from lingering in the cup.

Please note! If the BE O cup is placed in the dishwasher together with kitchen utensils that have heavy food residues such as tomato soup or spaghetti sauce, the soft parts may discolor. Try to avoid this. If this happens, soak the middle ring and the cap in 3% hydrogen peroxide for about 2 hours. Then rinse the parts with water before placing them back.
