Dimensions & parts
We’d like to introduce you to the BE O bottle. The reusable water bottle made from sugarcane. The BE O bottle was born in Didam and raised in Nijmegen. It was designed and assembled here. The bottle is 24.5 cm tall, 6.8 cm at its widest point, and weighs approximately 124 grams. Our bottles are completely safe for your health. The BE O bottle can be divided into five different parts, consisting of:
- The cap
- The capring
- The top half of the bottle
- The middle ring
- The bottom half of the bottle
Important instructions
The BE O bottle can be opened in two ways. You can unscrew the cap of the top part of the bottle and enjoy your drink. However, once the bottle is empty, you can also open it in the middle (by unscrewing the top part from the bottom part). This way, you can save space in your kitchen cabinet when storing the bottle. Before using the BE O bottle for the first time, wash it with water and soap. Also, make sure the bottle is properly sealed, both at the cap and the middle ring, to prevent leaks.
The BE O bottle is not suitable for carbonated drinks. The pressure created can cause leakage. However, the BE O bottle is suitable for water, lemonade, juices, and alcoholic beverages up to 14%.
You also donโt have to worry about the bottle melting when filled with boiling water, as this will not happen. However, the bottle will get very hot, making it uncomfortable to hold. Want to take hot drinks with you on the go? Check out our BE O cup!
Cleaning and care
The BE O bottle is completely dishwasher safe. We recommend placing it in the top rack of the dishwasher. The bottle is also easy to wash by hand. Make sure to clean the bottle after each use. The cap ring is where most bacteria tend to accumulate. It is important to remove the middle and cap rings from the bottle and clean all 5 separate parts individually. Allow them to dry thoroughly before putting them back together.
Please note! If the BE O bottle is placed in the dishwasher together with kitchenware that has food residues, such as tomato soup or spaghetti sauce, the middle ring may change color. Try to avoid this. If it happens, you can restore the middle ring to its original white color by soaking it in 3% hydrogen peroxide for about 2 hours. Afterward, rinse the white ring with water before placing it back onto the top half of the bottle.

Replacing parts yourself
1. Remove the cap from the bottle
2. Use a teaspoon to lift the cap ring upwards
3. Remove the cap ring from the cap
1. Push the cap ring into the cap
2. Press the cap ring firmly and then run your finger over it once more. This will ensure the ring sits evenly in the cap and stays in place when the cap is screwed onto the bottle
1. Place the teaspoon between the middle section and the middle ring
2. Pull the spoon towards you to loosen the ring
3. Remove the middle ring from the bottle
1. Place the middle ring onto the middle section of the bottle
2. Slide the middle ring over the bottle to secure it in place
