BE O is proud to be part of Social Enterprise.

As a social entrepreneur, you are at the forefront of the movement toward a new economy that is inclusive, circular and free of poverty. Social Enterprise NL connects social entrepreneurs to drive positive change in the future economy. Within this network, knowledge and experience are shared so that the strengths of all social entrepreneurs in the Netherlands can be combined, accelerating the movement and creating focused, meaningful impact together.

How do you become a member of Social Enterprise?

To become a member of Social Enterprise NL, you must have a social enterprise that has been operational for at least one year and is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce. In addition, it is important that the enterprise follows an impact first approach. You operate from a social mission, where financial profit is considered a means rather than a goal.

“Impact first”, but we do have a revenue model: we are a company with a mission. We want to show that it is possible to do good for the world around you without making major changes in your daily life.

Why is being a member of Social Enterprise so important to us?

By being a member of Social Enterprise NL, we can achieve our mission faster, better and more effectively together with other social entrepreneurs. In 2019, BE O signed the Social Enterprise NL declaration of intent, which states that creating impact is our top priority. Selling products and generating revenue is our means, but creating impact is the goal.
